Virtual Conference

About the conference

Due to the continuing challenges of COVID-19 and the associated uncertainties regarding traveling and quarantine restrictions, the joint IAREP-SABE 2021 will take place as a virtual conference in June 10-13, 2021.

The conference will bring together scholars who are interested in the intersection of economics and psychology, as well as to related disciplines of sociology, anthropology, neuroscience, and biology.

The format of the conference will be virtual thematic and special sessions in addition to keynote speeches and general meetings. The virtual sessions will be hosted via Zoom meetings by Universities from different regions of the world.

There will be an Early Career Researcher Workshop June 10th, 2021 for students and participants just starting their academic career.

Submissions

We welcome contributions from all areas of economic psychology, behavioural economics, judgement and/or decision-making.

  1. We invite you to submit your full paper or extended abstract (max 1000 words) before April 8th, 2021. Abstracts/full papers will be reviewed and notice of acceptance/rejection for oral presentation will be given by May 10th, 2021.

    For students: at the submission form you can indicate whether you would like to participate with your full paper at the Best Student Paper Competition.

  2. We invite groups of researchers to propose a theme for special sessions.

    Please submit your session proposal for 3 to 5 presentations including proposed topic, short overview, presenters, presentation titles, and extended abstracts in one document before April 1st, 2021. One of the proposers should be willing to be the Zoom host for the thematic session(s).

    Note: Each contributor to the thematic sessions needs to additionally submit their (extended) abstract or full paper as an individual submission.
