Scope of the Journal
The Journal of Behavioral Economics for Policy (JBEP) is an interdisciplinary academic journal that focuses on the application of behavioral economics in public policy. The journal accepts contributions from various disciplines and methodological approaches, as long as they lead to scientifically grounded conclusions. In addition, the JBEP accepts "non-results" studies and replications of existing studies.
Behavioral economics is the integration of economic theory and other related disciplines including but not limited to psychology, neuro-science, finance, biology, sociology, anthropology, political science, and law. Behavioral economics is inherently interdisciplinary. The purpose of this interdisciplinary research is to better understand human behavior.
